The Elgol peninsula lies on the south coast of the Isle of Skye and is accessed via the B8083 from Broadford. This winding road takes the visitor past the anciant Cill Chriosd churchyard and the village of Torrin by Loch Slapin, and provided spectacular views to the mountain of Bla Bheinn. From the jetty at the tiny community of Elgol you can take a boat trip into the heart of the Cuillin mountains at Loch Scavaig.
