The round of the Coir a'Ghreadaidh/Coire na Banachdich skyline makes a great day's outing. This day was just superb, warm, with a light breeze as I set out from the Youth Hostel car-park, following the stream then later heading leftward towards the ridge of Sgurr Thuilm. From its airy summit an easy walk leads to the base of Great Gash gulley. The way ahead follows the right-hand buttress on to the screes above then a short ridge to the summit.
On the way to Sgurr a' Greadaidh there is the drop into the slot of An Dorus followed by an easy staircase up on to the ridge - but you must turn to your right to access it. The ridge is now a delightful switchback over Sgurr a'Greadaidh's twin tops, down past the 'Teeth' and on to Sgurr naBanachdich, before descending the Sgurr nan Gobhar ridge back to the road.
