Heusden is a small fortified township just a 20 minute bus ride west of Den Bosch. Surrounded by defensive moats and ramparts, Heusden boasts the remains of a mediaeval fortress, an attractive harbour and marina plus well as several windmills. An ideal place for a leisurely walk of an afternoon.
