Summer 2015 was notable as one of the coldest, wettest and sunless on Skye in memory. How lucky I was, therefore, to find myself on Skye during the second week of September when, at last, the Weather Gods relented, and permitted a full week without a drop of rain. Indeed, after a pleasant but cloudy Sunday, the sun shone from dawn to dusk on each of the following five days.
