Strichen House Stone Circle

Near Strichen Country Park

Strichen is a fully restored stone circle (following damage in the 1960s). Travelling north into Strichen, take the second road on the left (Brewery Road) and continue for about half a mile to a lay-by on the left, opposite a sign indicating the Stone Circle. A good path goes under the old railway bridge then follows a fenced track up the hill. Finally, climb over a stile and continue up the hill where the Stone Circle stands in a fenced area with a picnic table.
