Hatton of Ardoyne Stone Circle

A mile NW of Oyne, Aberdeenshire

Though degraded, most of the circle stones are still there, though many have fallen; the site is crossed by a boundary fence and most of the stones are in the field north of the Recumbent and Flanker, partly hidden by gorse.

To access the circle, use the gate (blue marker) to the field immediately north of the road to Hatton of Ardoyne Farm and follow its boundary. At the SE corner of the field is another gate. Exit here and follow the farm track that heads east, directly to the circle.
