Ardlair Stone CircleLeave Kennethmont by the road opposite the primary school. The route is signposted from Ardlair FarmArdlair recumbent stone circle stands on the top of a low, grassy hill at Ardlair Farm, from where a sign indicates the way along a frequently churned-up and muddy path (often used by cattle). A less obvious—but less boggy—route is to head east along the main road for about 400 metres to where a break of trees edges the field, and follow the field boundaries round to the Stone Circle. On the way, you will pass the two Pictish Standing Stones shown on the OS map. Zoom out of this image to see the access road to the circle. | ||
